This model is a semi-forestry crusher. It is designed as an intermediate series between the traditional horizontal shaft and the forestry type of stem crushers.
The rear door can be opened together with the roller, as on the forestry crushers. The shaft is the same as that of the traditional (Alpha M Grizzly) type horizontal shaft shredders.

It can be used either in forward travel with the door closed, pulling the shaft, or in reverse travel with the door open.
Special "serrated" design, extra strong hammer retaining lugs and special "bear paw" shaped hammers.
An excellent choice for chopping small twigs/woods from grass pastures, through plantation farming to light forestry work.

The Alta XL series comes in working widths of 150, 180, 200 and 240 cm.
