A trampling resistant, drought tolerant perennial mulch, unstaked seed mix for orchard mulching and increasing the amount of undergrowth in pastures. Recommended seed rate: 25 kg/ha (total area).

Advantages:
-Promotes good orchard microclimate and nutrient management by partial or complete row cover.
-Compound or low-growing orchards, so mowing 2-4 times is sufficient instead of the usual 5-7 mowings.
Its water and nutrient requirements are much lower than those of high-yielding species, so it can be used in non-irrigated plantations.
-The dying root system and cuttings of the butterfly-grass association provide the orchard's organic matter needs.
-It absorbs winter precipitation well.

Cultivation technology:
-Timing of planting: Can be done at the same time as the heating planting, in spring and autumn.

-Sowing method: Sow in a round-worked, rolled soil suitable for sowing small seeds or grass and, if there are no compaction rollers on the drill, roll again after sowing.
