Description
Wile 27 is a moisture meter for hay bales, straw and drying silos. It can also be used to determine the moisture content of fermented fodder and silage.

Use
Moisture measurement of hay bales, drying silos and fermented fodder: moisture content between 10 and 70%. Moisture measurement of barley and wheat straw: moisture content between 10 and 50%.

Technical information
The Wile 27 indicates the moisture content of hay or fermented fodder, i.e. the water content in proportion to the weight. The percentage of moisture is subtracted from 100% of the dry matter, i.e. for example 30% moisture corresponds to 70% dry matter. If the moisture content is too high, hay and straw will rot and can become dangerously hot. Use the Wile 27 to make sure your hay bales are dry enough for safe storage.
