These belt harvesters can handle crops up to 20 or 30 m. Thanks to the uniform row design, the next harvester in line can travel at up to 3 km/h higher working speed. The MERGE MAXX belt harvesters are also characterised by maximum versatility, both in terms of the sorting possibilities and the ability to handle different crops: they can handle light or bulk, dense or sparse, short or long straw, arable or grassland, straw or whole crops, cereal mix, hay, ...). Their use is particularly recommended for vulnerable forage crops such as butterflies to ensure harvesting with full nutritional value.
What is the working principle of the ribbon conditioner? The crop is lifted off the ground by the pickers and deposited gently, leaving as few leaves as possible and with as little dirt and stones as possible.
