Description
The SIPMA PZ 2780 Supra Variokamras baler can be used for baling straw, hay and green fodder for haylage. Compared to its predecessor, the pick-up is 20 cm wider and now reaches 220 cm.

The electronic control system is used to control and monitor the pick-up, baling and discharge cycles and the correct functioning of the structures.

Functions of the control unit:

- starting and executing automatic cycles
- determination of the number of layers of netting
- checking the uniformity of the bale chamber discharge
- determination of the bale diameter and degree of compression: 1) setting the same pressure on the bale core and the outer layer, 2) setting different pressures on the bale core and the outer layer, 3) setting different pressures on the bale core and the outer layer and increasing the pressure in the final stage of bale forming
- monitoring and displaying the status of the sensors
- ball counting, operating time, capacity display.

The baling chamber consists of five seamless straps, which allow bales with diameters between 0,9 and 1,8 m to be formed.

The 2.2 m wide bale pick-up guarantees proper pick-up of the wide bale, even in sharp bends, and the side feed pulleys ensure a steady supply of material to the scarifying unit.

A rotary feed chopper unit with 11 knives ensures fast and efficient transfer of material to the bale chamber. Thanks to the 90 mm cutting length, the material is ideal for forming green fodder bales of the right compactness. The chopped material makes the bales approximately 20% heavier than bales made from unchopped material, which also has a positive effect on transport efficiency.

The wide-angle cardan shaft with automatic clutch allows working on turns and protects the baler from damage.

Mesh tie-downs and wide tyres are standard equipment on the baler.

The Domex steel construction of the baling chamber is solid and robust, guaranteeing reliable operation.

Pneumatic or hydraulic brakes ensure safety on the road and in mountainous terrain.

The OptiFlowSystem helps to reduce baling time with the highest pressure available.

The machine is delivered with a wide-angle universal joint shaft equipped with a clutch mechanism.
