Description
One of the key benefits of Pöttinger's Novacat scything system is that it not only increases the life of the machine, but also significantly improves the quality of work and operator comfort.
The bottom line: the central suspension results in an even load distribution. The cutterbar is suspended in the centre (not on its side), so that even pressure is applied to the ground. This means that the mower does not "push" into the ground, causing less damage to the turf and less ground disturbance, resulting in a more even mowing quality, even on uneven ground. A further advantage, which I consider very important for the life of the machine, is that the cutterbar can move laterally.
