Description
The SIPMA PS 1225 FORTIS fixed chamber baler is intended for harvesting green fodder for haylage, but is also perfectly suited for baling straw and hay.
The innovative chain-and-roller design of the compaction chamber increases the bale density, improving the quality of the haylage and the efficiency of the work.
The mechanical locking mechanism of the compaction chamber provides the possibility to achieve a higher compactness, which positively influences the efficiency and improves the quality of the compacted fodder.
A rotary feed chopper unit with 11 knives ensures fast and efficient transfer of the material to the baling chamber. Thanks to the 90 mm cutting length, the material is ideal for forming green fodder bales of the right compactness. The chopped material makes the bales approximately 20% heavier than bales made from unchopped material, which also has a positive effect on transport efficiency.
The central chain drive reduces maintenance time and increases the life of the drive elements.
The rotor feeds the trimmings quickly and evenly into the compaction chamber.
The 2 m wide pick-up ensures proper pick-up of the wide crop, even in sharp bends, and the side augers ensure a steady supply of material to the scarifying unit.
The automatic wide-angle universal joint shaft with clutch facilitates work in the rotors and protects the baler against overloading.
The net binder prevents bales from unravelling, significantly shortens tying time and increases efficiency.
The roller/roller of the pick-up makes crop feeding more even and performs pre-compaction.
Pre-centered bearing lubrication points reduce maintenance time, increase bearing life and make machine handling/maintenance more comfortable.

The coupling device (optional equipment) allows the baler to be connected to the SIPMA OS 7531 MAJA or SIPMA OS 7650 GAJA wrapping machine, allowing a film wrapped bale to be produced in one workflow, saving time and money.
