Description
For sale is the Balfor Continental 480 firewood machine shown in the pictures.
The machine has a cutting capacity of 480 mm, a heavy-duty hydraulic chainsaw and a 22-tonne splitting attachment. The controls are operated by an electronic joystick and the splitting wheel, made of DOMEX® material, is hydraulically controlled, allowing the production of evenly sized firewood. The 2/4 splitting wheel is standard. The Continental 480 is equipped with an oversized oil tank, oil cooler and multiple compartments for storing tools or spare chains, etc. The Continental 480 also has a hydraulic three-stage conveyor and hydraulic connectors for feeding table attachment. The infeed conveyor is made of a special anti-slip material and ensures optimum infeed even in wet wood.
