This unique professional petrol saw and chipper, the Lumag SSA500GHPRO, combines three machines in one. The machine saws the wood to the desired length and then splits the sawn wood into 2 or 4 pieces (6-piece splitting chute available as an option). The machine is equipped with a hydraulic infeed conveyor (wood infeed to the saw) and an outfeed conveyor (after splitting). The sawing and catching of the wood is also hydraulic and automatic. The chipper is equipped with a powerful 13 HP petrol engine, which means it can be used anywhere.

The machine can split an average of 5-8 cubic metres per hour. Of course, factors such as feed speed, log thickness and type of wood are important. The machine can use a variety of extra available accessories such as a hydraulic log lifting device, a hydraulic log feeding table and a 6-piece splitting table. All machines are equipped with a combination of 2 and 4-piece splitting wedges as standard. It can transport logs up to 50 cm in diameter. The logs are cut to the desired length by the hydraulically driven chainsaw, then the wood is automatically dropped in front of the splitting machine, which splits the wood with a hydraulic splitting force of 15 tonnes (so it's all one operation). The wood is then delivered on a 3.2 metre long conveyor belt, which transports it to the location of your choice (either to make a mountain of split wood or to drop the wood directly into a large bag or trailer). The maximum discharge height is 2 metres. The conveyor belt is easily adjustable to the height of the winch supplied.
