Vertical petrol engine driven machine - JANSEN TS-22B (SN42)

The log splitter is powered by a powerful 9 HP Briggs & Stratton engine (XR1450, 306cc). This is one of our latest log splitter models, with a very heavy duty and robust design. The log splitter weighs 316 kg.

This model is manufactured to the latest EU product safety standard EN 609:2017.

The 22 ton splitting force is provided by the petrol engine (9 HP, Briggs & Stratton, XR1450, 306cc).

The built-in log lift is very practical, allowing heavy logs to be lifted with ease. The log lift can be locked in the upper position when not needed, in which position it serves as a second guardrail.

The log splitter has two speeds: a fast one for getting the logs there and a slower one for the splitting process. With a basic spring mechanism, the unit can be used in two different modes.

The splitting wheel automatically returns to its pre-set position (variable in steps with the lever) as soon as the control lever is released. This allows for fast and efficient work, as it is not necessary to manually return the wedge to the top. The spring must be removed for this mode.
The splitting wedge remains in place when the handle is released and only returns to the top when the handle is pushed upwards. For this function, the spring must be inserted.
The log splitter is equipped with pneumatic wheels. It also has a drawbar and a transport wheel. Thanks to the transport wheel, the log splitter can be easily moved by one person. The roller can be lowered to a height of 1.9 metres in no time. It operates at two speeds - one faster for the log approach and one slower for the splitting process.

The transport includes a crosshead. It is prohibited to use this crosshead with the log splitter within the European Union. According to the latest EU standard EN 609:2017, it is generally prohibited to use crosses or multiple splits on log splitters.

The use of crosses is at your own risk.

Notes:

The unit is delivered well packed and set up. It takes approximately 30 minutes for final assembly and installation. The package includes instructions and exploded diagram. For refilling, use HLP46-rated hydraulic oil, which is available everywhere. You will also need about 1 litre of engine oil for the engine, in which case we recommend a multigrade oil of 10W40 or 15W40.

The transport support is only used to move the cylinder by the transporter and must be removed after the log splitter is first assembled.
