Description
The Grillo 11500 motor hoe offers maximum performance and robustness.
The oil-bath mechanical gearbox has 3 forward gears and reverse gear.
The 99 cm wide, 32 cm hoe diameter cutter consists of 6 hoe bars and side plates. Different milling widths can be achieved by using the extension kit or by removing the hoe stars.
The machine is equipped with two power take-off shafts, one synchronised with the spray pumps and the other with the gearbox.

The Grillo 11500 is equipped with an active control system; pushing the forward lever on the steering wheel starts the rotation of the tines. When the lever is released, the tines stop immediately and the motor continues to run. Maximum practicality and safety.
The oil-bath gearbox has 3 speeds, plus reverse, and the gear lever is always within easy reach.
The cutter housing is made of cast iron for maximum strength.
The Grillo 11500 is available with Honda GX200 and GX270 petrol engines and KD15-350 diesel engines.

These are the latest generation of engines with the best features for agricultural use, including excellent torque even at low engine speeds. Robust, reliable and quiet, they are equipped with systems that reduce the force required for starting.

All engines are fitted as standard with a front bumper and an oil bath filter suitable for working in very dusty areas.

The hardened steel tines are secured with bolts. The tine shaft is hexagonal with an internal keyway of 27 mm.

The 8-position height adjustable spur is oscillating. You can use the inverted spur when working very hard soil. Furthermore, to achieve a very tight turning radius, the stop can be omitted, which limits the swing of the spur.

Even on uphill and downhill slopes, the Grillo 11500 motor hoe is agile and efficient thanks to its perfect balance.

The height and width of the adjustable furrow cutter can be adjusted, replacing the spur and allowing you to make furrows of the desired depth and width for sowing or irrigation.

The side discs must not be used on hard soil that has never been cultivated. On softer soils, side discs are very useful: they help maintain direction, progress and protect neighbouring crops from cultivation.

The Grillo 11500 can also be ploughed by fitting the optional plough kit, which consists of a single-head or alternate-head plough and wheels.

The handlebars are height and sideways adjustable with comfortable levers, without the need to unscrew bolts or knobs. This makes it easy to work between plants, avoiding branches or obstacles without stopping.

The handlebar is fitted with shock absorbers for a comfortable ride.

The Grillo 11500 comes standard with two power take-off shafts: the upper one rotates counter-clockwise, is directly connected to the engine and has an 11 UNI 221 locking shaft, and the lower one rotates clockwise, synchronised with the gearbox and has a 13 UNI 221 locking shaft.

A front support leg with spring-loaded anchorage system is standard on all versions of the Grillo 11500.

The optional front wheel is equipped with a practical spring mechanism that automatically locks it in working and transport position.

Cleaning and maintenance is super easy! Just check the engine oil level regularly and clean the filter. The gearbox requires no maintenance. The Grillo 11500, like all Grillo products, is designed and manufactured to last and retain its value over time. All components, from the simplest to the most complex, are of the highest quality. Grillo installs the latest generation of engines! The frame, the handlebars, the cutting head, everything is manufactured by Grillo in Italy, using the best materials and the most modern technologies, for high, consistent and 100% controlled quality.

Grillo machines are painted with two coats of electrostatic powder paint. Washing and preparation baths follow first, then a first protective coat is applied, which, together with the kiln firing, forms the best basis for the finishing application. A second coat of varnish and further baking in the oven at 190 °C gives the characteristic hardness and gloss.
All machines are carefully assembled and tested by qualified personnel. The last test is done with the engine running!

Grillo products are distributed and supported by a nationwide network of specialised Grillo retailers. Spare parts are still available years later.
