Description
The Grillo G 46 is an innovative, compact motor cultivator, ideal for use in vegetable gardens and backyards.
Its compact size makes it easy to work in tight spaces.
The G 46 is perfectly balanced, equipped with a 2-speed oil-bath gearbox, a forward gear and a reverse gear.
To change from forward to reverse, use the handy quick clutch.

The G 46's counter-rotating cutting mechanism allows you to finely chop even tough and tough soil, despite its small size and weight.
The rotation of the cutter, counter-rotating the drive wheels, grips the machine well and allows more aggressive milling with less effort!

The cutter width is 50 cm. The cutter housing is made of cast iron.
The hoes are made of hardened steel and have a working diameter of 26 cm.
The G 46 is equipped with a rear slider that allows the milling depth to be adjusted to 5 different positions.
The sledge is particularly useful for working sandy or soft soils, as it prevents the cultivator from sinking too deep into the soil.
In very hard soil, the sledge can be removed to allow the cutter to sink deeper.

There is no need to apply any pressure to the handlebars, just steer the machine and the cut will be smooth.

The G 46, like all Grillo machines, is designed to guarantee total safety at work.
The G 46 is equipped with a 5.5 hp Honda GX200 petrol engine.
The engine is protected by a solid bumper.

Independent control of the cutter feed and start.
The G 46 is equipped with an active clutch control system for maximum safety and practicality.
When the "dead man" lever is released, the wheels and cutter stop immediately while the engine continues to run.
The presence of the Grillo active control clutch guarantees absolute safety when working.

The pushing arm is height adjustable to adapt to any operator and ground depth.
The lateral positioning of the G 46 handle allows you not to step on the soil, keeping it perfectly flat and level.

Milling with the G 46 is one-handed only, the counter-rotating milling tool helps to maintain stability and direction.

The tine cultivator can be mounted behind the tillage machine; its cooperation allows you to create regular furrows for irrigation or seeding.

The G 46 is equipped with a lever that allows the wheels to be disengaged from the gearbox, which, together with the perfect balance of the cultivator, makes it easy to move the machine with the engine switched off.

The gearbox is equipped with oil-bath gears designed for long-term use. Manufactured entirely in Grillo's factories.
Cleaning and maintenance is super easy! Just check the oil level in the engine and gearbox regularly and clean the air filter.

Grillo machines are painted with two coats of electrostatic powder paint. Washing and preparation baths follow first, then a first protective coat is applied, which, together with the kiln firing, forms the best basis for the finishing coat. A second coat of varnish and further baking in the oven at 190 °C gives the characteristic hardness and gloss.
All machines are carefully assembled and tested by qualified personnel. The last test is done with the engine running!

Grillo products are distributed and supported by a nationwide network of specialised Grillo retailers. Spare parts are still available years later.
