Description
The MD 15 is a hydrostatic mower with an 83 cm belly mower, dual cutting function and a "Quick Shift" lever to switch between mulching and side discharge directly from the driver's seat.
Ideal for cutting lawns where excellent results are required, even on slopes.
The low height from the ground makes it ideal for working under foliage. The MD 15 Loncin LC1P92F OHV is equipped with a 452 cc single cylinder petrol engine that delivers 12 hp (15 hp gross).
The single-blade cutting table is made entirely of steel, with impact-resistant floating blade tips and a special cutting edge profile for precise cutting in all grass conditions.

The cutting height adjustment ranges from 2.5 to 7.5 cm and is controlled by a 6-position lever. The same lever also has an additional shift position that allows the entire cutting mechanism to be raised higher off the ground, automatically interrupting the blade rotation to easily overcome kerbs and obstacles.

The cutting head belt tension is self-adjusting. The entire unit remains parallel to the ground at all times, so the quality of the cut is improved even after years of use!

The blades are switched on by an electric button near the steering wheel, which activates the electromagnetic clutch on the power output shaft.

The "Quick Shift" lever allows you to switch between cutting modes while sitting comfortably in the driver's seat, even while cutting, without interrupting your work. No need to change blades.
Side discharge cutting is convenient for tall grass and is also suitable for those who do not mow regularly.
The cut grass is discharged into the side steel cover. The projecting cover is designed to standards, ensuring optimum operator safety. It is also equipped with a leather protection roller.
To further increase reliability and impact protection, the cover hinges are located inside the cover.

The mulching cut is ideal for regular mowing and finely shreds the grass clippings, helping to release nutrients into the soil.
In addition, mulching can be done after the first pass of the rear discharge cut for better results.

The transmission consists of a hydrostatic shaft equipped with an oil cooling fan, which is essential to increase transmission performance by reducing the operating temperature. The speed can be continuously varied between 0 and 9 km/h and allows a precise choice of forward speed.

The tilting front axle keeps all four wheels on the ground, even on very uneven ground.

Mechanical steering is smooth and precise, with an internal turning radius of 45 cm, which ensures excellent manoeuvrability even on roads with obstacles such as plants, street lights, etc.
The MD 15 is compact, has a low centre of gravity and optimum weight distribution, providing maximum stability and safety for the operator.
The seat positioned close to the ground, the internal combustion engine with its very low positioned vertical axle, the belly plate positioned exactly between the 4 wheels and the battery mounted on the front axle make the machine exceptionally stable.
The legs rest on a 2-position adjustable footrest to meet the needs of all users.

The driving controls are ergonomic, with a forward lever for precise speed selection. The brake pedal automatically returns the forward lever to zero and all 4 wheels are braked.
The parking brake is applied to the rear wheels.

All parts, from the simplest to the most complex, are of high quality.
The frame, the cutter, the head, everything is manufactured by Grillo in Italy, using the best materials and the most modern technologies to ensure high, constant and 100% controlled quality. Grillo machines are painted with two coats of electrostatic powder coating. Washing and preparation baths are applied first, followed by a first protective coat, which, when baked in the oven, provides the best base for the finishing application. A second coat of paint and a further step in the oven at 190°C gives the characteristic hardness and gloss.
Grillo MD 15 is meticulously assembled and tested by professionals. Final testing of the MD 15 includes testing of each machine with the motor running to check all functions. This is an additional and final guarantee of a high quality product.
