The Apus field cultivator is recommended for working compact, harder soils. The special tines help to mix crop residues deeper into the soil. The roller can be either tubular or ring-shaped to help evenly distribute the tilled soil. The 42.5 cm tine spacing and 65 cm height under the frame make it suitable for use in areas with heavy weeds. Should you hit something while working, a screw or spring-loaded safety device intervenes to prevent the machine from breaking down. The fixing of the levelling discs (smooth or serrated) on the final frame of the tube shaft is advantageous to cushion overloads and their change of position. A maximum working depth of 15 cm can be achieved by adjusting the shaft.
