Description
The KÜHNE KTL-K Soil Softener creates an adequate water capacity connection between the cultivated layer and the subsoil by loosening and compacting the soil to the required depth. Its use has a positive effect on the air and water management of the soil.
Soilers are made up of two types of cultivation elements. The two rows of tines at the front loosen and lift the soil, while the double tine cultivator roller at the rear chops and mixes it.
The spacing of the loosening tines varies between 380 mm for the KTL-7K/2,5 and between 400 and 500 mm for the KTL-5K/2,5, with a spacing of 740 mm between the tine rows, regardless of the type, to ensure clog-free operation. The design of the double spiked drum ensures excellent mixing of stalk residues into the soil and chopping of clods, as well as maintaining the working depth of the machine.
The working depth is adjusted by means of a spindle with hydraulic adjustment as an option.
