Description
The KÜHNE compactor Profi machine family is designed for conventional or speed-reduced technology:

- compact seedbed at sowing depth,
- in the top soil layer, to produce a fine, crumbly, powdery soil,
- mixing chemicals and fertilisers into the soil.

The compactor is of semi-suspended design, with a working width of 6 to 8 metres, with a welded frame structure and three rows of cultivation units arranged side by side and capable of moving independently of each other. The cultivator units follow the unevenness of the ground in a self-adjusting manner. The machine consists of a series of movable implement holders, which are positioned one behind the other but are integrally mounted, articulated to the frame and capable of moving apart from each other. The increased diameter roller drums and crosskill roller elements require little tractive effort as they work by rolling on the ground, so operating costs can be significantly reduced. The machine is designed to allow operation without lifting in end-of-panel turns.
