The BOMET U540/2 is the Virgo series tiller designed for soil loosening, mixing, clod chopping, weed control and fertiliser application. The blades are mounted on the rotor shafts with a spacing of 225 mm. The machine is equipped as standard with a conventional adjustable rear guard plate to limit the spreading of soil and stones. Raising the guard plate reduces soil fragmentation and lowering it increases it. The working depth can be adjusted by means of the side skids. The machine is equipped with a cardan drive as standard.
