Description
If you already have a Tip-Roller or other HE-VA roller, you just need to purchase the corresponding knife roller bearings and install them in place of the ring line. If you want to use the Cambridge/Csillag/Crosskill ring again, you just need to reinstall the ring members in place of the knife elements.
During the development process, the factory has gained extensive experience in the operation of small diameter Top-Cutter shredding rollers previously sold to many countries around the world. These were used to develop an interchangeable knife roller with a larger roller body. Thus, the knife roller is produced in two versions, depending on the diameter of the original ring members: for the smaller roller diameters, a knife roller member with an inner diameter of 355 mm / outer diameter of 545 mm has been produced, while for the larger roller diameters, a knife roller member with an inner diameter of 408 mm / outer diameter of 610 mm has been produced.
The design retains the proven solutions of the past:
- twist knife mounting - there is a cut at every moment, so whether the tool is towed at low or high speed, it will not "bounce"
- V-shaped layout - in larger V-shapes to ensure a continuous cut while working
- 12-15 cm chopping size - the larger diameter means there are 8 or 9 rows of knives on the sheath
- increased weight can be achieved by loading the cylinder members, as there is no hydraulics to transfer weight from the ring member to the knife cylinder
- quick and easy replacement - the retainer bearings are identical to those of a standard ring row
- long life - the knives are made of HARDOX material to ensure extreme wear resistance
- more intensive soil work - the height of the blades has also been increased, so that they can cut through even large stubble masses
