Description
If you already have a Tip-Roller or other HE-VA roller, you just need to buy the corresponding knife roller bearings and they can be installed in place of the ring line. If you want to use the Cambridge/Csillag/Crosskill ring again, you just need to reinstall the ring members in place of the knife elements.
During the development process, the factory gained extensive experience in the operation of small diameter Top-Cutter shredding rollers previously sold to many countries around the world. These were used to develop the interchangeable knife roller with the larger roller body. Thus, the knife roller is produced in two versions, depending on the diameter of the original ring members: for the smaller roller diameters, a 355 mm inner/545 mm outer diameter knife roller member was produced, while for the larger roller diameters, a 408 mm inner/610 mm outer diameter knife roller member was produced.
The design retained the previous well-proven solutions:
- twisted knife mounting - there is a cut at every moment, so whether the tool is towed at low or high speed, it will not "bounce"
- V-shaped layout - but in a larger V-shape, ensuring that there is a continuous cut while working
- 12-15 cm chopping size - the larger diameter means there are 8 or 9 rows of knives on the sheath
- increased weight can be achieved by filling the rollers, as there is no hydraulics to transfer weight from the ring member to the knife cylinder
- quick and easy replacement - the retainer bearings are identical to those of a standard ring row
- long life - knives are made of HARDOX material to ensure extreme wear resistance
- more intensive soil work - the height of the blades has also been increased, so that they can cut through even large stubble masses

- designed with bearings (same bearings as for the ring row, 6 factory bearings included in the quotation)

- V-shaped knife fitting with twisted knives

Of course, it is also possible to buy Tip-Roller knife rollers as stand-alone machines, in the same size as Tip-Roller ring rollers.
