Description
It is a tool for cultivating the soil of a row of vines, but the ploughing plough produces a much finer soil and also tears up the roots of weeds.
We use this tool to form a slight 'bakhate' under the rows, which is removed in a subsequent operation (e.g.) with a knife-trowel. With this method we can weed the bottom of the rows throughout the summer season.
This has been a common tool in western viticulture for some years. With a driving speed of at least 6 km/h, it drives the hoe with a forced drive. In our area, the soil is more clayey (Iron Mountain) and it works perfectly here too.
It does not require a lot of tractor power and can be used with smaller tractors.
It can be used with a three-point suspension or mounted on the front of the tractor, and can also be mounted on existing tine cultivation units.
The price includes the finger-operated unit with 60×25 mm flat iron mounting bracket, but can also be purchased with complete suspension and support wheel.
