Dual-purpose varieties that grow well under farm conditions. Roosters can reach slaughter weight at up to 10 weeks of age. They are capable of excellent egg production (305-315 eggs in 12 months of production). Their eggs are light brown or brown in colour. They start laying at 20-22 weeks of age, but under the right conditions production can start at 18-20 weeks. By the age of 1 year they will have grown to hens weighing between 2.5 and 3.5 kg. Roosters can reach a weight of 4.5-5 kg if properly fed.
