When applied to stalk residues and stubble after harvest, it provides a good medium for micro-organisms to decompose. It is easily absorbed into the soil where it is immediately utilised, improving the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil and its water balance. It is a favourable source of nitrogen for plants and soil micro-organisms.

Recommended amount, according to the manufacturer's recommendation:
- As basic fertiliser: 2-2,5 t/ha
- As a first top dressing for autumn cereals (late winter, early spring): 2-2,5 t/ha
- For maize, sunflowers, possible double application (autumn, post-harvest, on stubble and spring, before seedbed preparation): 3-4 t/ha
- As foliar fertiliser, at advanced phenological stage: max. 100 kg/ha

In the spirit of environmental awareness:
Its application can significantly reduce the amount of fertiliser and pesticides applied to soils and can be integrated in a circular agriculture. It is included in the list of products authorised for organic farming.
