Description
Potassium salt is the most concentrated (up to 60%) potassium-based fertiliser based on potassium chloride, and is best recommended as a base fertiliser for winter cereals and rape. The vast majority of potassium fertilisers used in arable fields are potassium chloride-based, as it is the cheapest source of potassium and is an excellent way to replenish and maintain soil potassium reserves. The use of MAP, DAP and potash also plays an important role in site-specific and precision nutrient management due to the variable nutrient ratios.
