Mechanism of action:
Adhesion enhancer for herbicides,
fungicides, insecticides. The agent reduces the surface tension of the spray and increases its adhesion, resulting in better spray coverage of treated crops. Conventional additives reduce the positive effect of Silk Star on spray coverage, which we recommend checking by a simple field mixing test. Silk Star is sensitive to a medium that is too acidic or too basic, so the optimum application medium is between pH 4.0 and 8.0. Silk Star also reduces the foaming of the spray liquids.
