Description
Boron foliar fertilizer containing orange oil.

It can be used as a foliar boron fertiliser for all borage crops outside the flowering period. Exceptions are ornamental plants with waxy leaves, especially conifers.

In organic production, it is recommended for the control of sucking pests and fungal diseases, especially in mildew sensitive crops. These are especially apples, grapes, cucumbers and squash.

Insects with large and strong exoskeletons or covered (e.g. shield or hairs) do not have a serious killing effect, so beneficial insects such as ladybirds and bees are not harmed. In their case it acts as a contact agent.

Dosage: 20-50 ml/10 l water

The drying effect of citrus oils and orange sterols can also occur on plants in the form of scorching, so do not spray on the most sensitive plant tissues, flowers, and use only outside the flowering period! Also because of the risk of scorching, do not use in hot weather or during the day! As a wash spray, it can be used at any time and with any frequency outside the vegetation (from leaf fall to bud break) in frost-free weather, but one wash spray in autumn and/or one wash spray at the end of winter is sufficient. The drying time is very short, so daytime use is not affected by night frost.

To control aphids, apply immediately on emergence (when the plant is not in flower) and repeat every 5-10 days until aphids have disappeared. It can also be used as a preventive measure for powdery mildew. In this case, spray susceptible plants for powdery mildew in case of weather conditions that predispose to infestation (except when in flower!).

As a foliar fertiliser, use before flowering and immediately after emergence.

Always spray in the morning or evening. The temperature range for use is 0-30 degrees Celsius.

Take into account the possible scorching effect, as described in the previous points!

Can be applied with any sprayer.

If used for biological control, aim for the best possible coverage, because in this aspect it is a contact sprayer and only smothers and dries out the pest/pathogen that it completely covers.
