Description
Tyra is a hyper-fast fungicide that works at low temperatures. It breaks the infection chain of soil-borne fungal diseases. Used on the soil surface, it does not compromise the mycorrhizal network. Just water it out and wash it in with water... lots of water.

Use in orchards after severe fungal infections (e.g. monilia) is recommended.

Special use in cherry and apricot trees is to spray into inflorescence and mix with milk (20 g Tyra and 100 ml milk for 10 litres of water)

Tyra inhibits the growth of pathogenic fungi in the soil. It creates a healthy root environment, aids crop development, results in better resistance and higher yields.

In Tyra, strain T1 (NCAIM 68/2006) of the fungus Trichoderma asperellum is present, which has been isolated from native soils by Hungarian researchers.

Its origin is the reason for its excellent adaptation to the native soil and weather conditions and its long duration of action. It is also the reason for its low or no damage to beneficial mycorrhizal fungi.

Most importantly from a crop production point of view, it creates a healthy root environment by disrupting the pathogens' reproductive structures and inhibiting their multiplication.

It colonises the root system, thus protecting the plant from soil-borne pathogenic fungi and bacteria. It feeds on pathogenic fungi, produces antibiotic and plant growth stimulating substances.

It is a hyperparasitic, beneficial fungus. The developing fungal filaments produce biologically active substances that stimulate the immune system and antibody production in plants. It makes the plant more resistant to pathogens by inducing resistance.

Tyra is also able to produce high levels of cellulase enzyme that can completely break down plant residues.

10-20 g/10 litres of water, enough to treat 100 m² of soil.

It can be used on all crops, applied to the soil during pre-sowing soil preparation and then incorporated or covered with mulch. It is also suitable for application by irrigation.

It is mainly recommended for use in species susceptible to soil overwintering fungal infections, especially if such pathogens have occurred in the previous year.

The most common soil-borne pathogenic fungi in vegetables are Sclerotinia, Pythium, Fusarium, Phytophthora. These are a serious problem for chickweed, cassava and various root vegetables.

In vegetables, Tyra should be sprayed or watered on the soil surface. In this case, application in shallow soil or mulch cover is recommended.

Excellent efficacy is obtained by treating the roots of seedlings, potted plants to be planted with an aqueous suspension of the product by dipping or watering. Likewise, wet spraying of potatoes is also effective. In this case, prepare a solution of 0,02-0,03 %.

When planting fruit trees and ornamental plants, dipping and/or irrigation of the roots is also a good solution. In fruit stands where diseases spread by infected plant material are present, it is advisable to apply a complete soil treatment, with shallow incorporation, possibly covering the applied material with mulch.

For this live formulation, the number of germs applied per unit area is important. This determines the efficiency and the rate of colonisation. The rates given are the minimum rates at which the product will have an effect, but increasing the number of germs per surface area will improve the efficiency.

It is a natural, indigenous species and should not be overdosed.

The optimum temperature of the Trichoderma fungus in Tyra is 15-25 °C measured in soil. It multiplies most rapidly at 60-70% soil water saturation.

For horticultural crops, treatment can be repeated 1-2 times a month. A second treatment is recommended after 2-3 months to ensure a safe effect. A full surface treatment is recommended first, with repeated applications by irrigation or root irrigation per plant being effective.

Always apply in the morning or evening and either work in immediately or cover with mulch, as the live Trichoderma fungi in the soil are soil-dwelling and UV radiation will kill them.

Also keep an eye on the optimum temperature, measure the soil temperature.

It can be applied with any sprayer or irrigator.

Do not use with fungicidal pesticides and soil disinfectants!

The product must be used in the form of an aqueous suspension. In cold periods, soaking in lukewarm water for a few hours (2-24) will accelerate and improve the effect of the product.

Store the preparation refrigerated or deep-frozen!
