Fruit characteristics:
Fruit is large. The colour is red at the beginning of ripeness for consumption, then dark reddish as ripening progresses, with a shiny, thin skin. The flesh is firm, moderately firm and crispy. The flavour is pleasantly sweet and sour-sour. It is an excellent quality fruit for eating. When ripe, it is not damaged by the cherry fly.
Tree characteristics:
The tree has a strong growth habit. The crown is sparsely branched, rigidly branched, initially ascending and then spreading out under the weight of the fruit. Requires little pruning.
