High species rich pasture mixture including butterflies.
-The relatively high amount of undergrowth makes the grassland trampling tolerant.
-It is particularly suitable for hilly areas, helping to combat erosion.
In the first years, fast-growing grasses such as Italian periwinkle guarantee sufficient quantity and quality of forage, while in later years, slower-growing fibre grasses such as rye grass gain ground.
For grazing, we recommend mixing with chicory or forage plantain seed!
A multi-component grass mixture suitable for grazing and mowing.
Cultivation technology:
-Preparation for sowing: seedbed with a notched surface, which is not marked by a shoe heel or tractor wheel. The small seeds must be sown at a depth of 0 cm using the new seed drills, which are self-propelled into the soil. If the machine is fitted with a disc coulter, it must be lifted before sowing.
-To reduce the risk of weed infestation, 60 kg/ha of spring oats or 100 kg of oat peas can be sown on top if required. Separate rolling is only necessary if the soil is prone to potting.
-Nutrient supply: minimum N requirement, possibly 30 kg/ha of rapid (liquid if possible) nitrogen can be applied in spring. 10 t/ha of mature composted manure per year at the end of winter.
-Harvesting: the first mowing in the year of planting should be from late May to early June, depending on rainfall. This is the time when hay and slash can be made. In the following years it can be mown 2-4 times.
-Other: depending on rainfall conditions, the pasture in the hills grows throughout the growing season and its composition provides a varied mass feed throughout the year.
Subsidies, compliance with regulations:
For your farm, be sure to check with your village manager about compliance with the ACG standards you have undertaken, as well as other forms of support.
In principle, this product meets the AKG green fodder requirements, as it contains butterflies and has many components, but the green fodder is not grazed.
