FANGIO CL rapeseed is recommended for those looking for a high yielding, late sown and very early harvested rapeseed for the Clearfield weed control system, reducing production risk and costs.

Its autumn development is vigorous, making it suitable for proven late sowings. It has high yield potential, excellent oil yield and oil content. It has above-average winter-hardiness and flowers and matures very early, on average two weeks ahead of conventional early maturing canola hybrids. Its earliness makes harvesting well timed and its low to medium plant height makes it easy to harvest.

It has good stem stability and above average plant health. Modern hybrid with RLM7-fruit resistance and genetic background for resistance to bolting.

Autumn and spring regulator treatment based on condition assessment, only necessary when justified.

The rapeseed hybrid FANGIO CL is an outstanding performer in both nitrogen utilisation and drought stress tolerance. Its later sowing and earlier harvesting reduces the growing season by almost one month, thus significantly reducing production risk. Optimally, yield potential is built up before the heat and drought stress of late spring, and the crop is able to maintain this potential with excellent yield retention.

Recommended sowing date: The normal sowing interval for the area is plus two weeks, but not more than plus four weeks depending on weather conditions, preferably between 20 September and 10 October.

Recommended sowing rate: 450 000-550 000 germs/ha or the sowing rate used for conventional rape plus 30%.
