Fruit characteristics:
Fruit is medium to small. The shape is a broad, flattened truncated cone. Skin colour dark purplish-violet, jet black when fully ripe. Flesh blackish reddish-burgundy, semi-hard, juicy, with a strongly staining juice. The flavour is sweet, with a distinctive flavour, one of our most delicious cherry varieties. The fruit has a high dry matter content.
Tree characteristics:
The tree is medium-growing, with a conical, spherical crown, conspicuously dense in its branches. The leaves are densely packed. It grows well on both crabgrass and wild cherry rootstock.
