Description
- Hay Day, Bicolor x sudanese, sorghum-sudanese hybrid
- Hybrid suitable for repeated mowing (2-3), suitable for making hay
- Sowing: early May to July, for cereal row spacing.
- First mowing at about 60 days, above 90-100 cm.
- Seed rate: 30-35 kg/ha.
- Reliable and rustic hybrid with excellent productivity, very fast regrowth and strong ear formation.
- Medium height plant (2.5-2.6 m), very resilient, with quality always guaranteed: excellent protein content.
- Use: can be mowed several times, suitable for making hay. Under suitable conditions, three cuts per season can be achieved. For the first mowing, the larger quantity is produced. Maximize yield by late harvesting (until seeds ripen), best yield is obtained when the bush is still in the belly.
- Use: not to be used before a height of 90-100 cm.
- It can be used for grazing outside the haymaking area once it reaches a suitable height.
