Description
Golden Teepee is an organic seed, yellow bush bean, wax bean variety.

It produces 14-15 cm long fruits that grow above the leaves, making it very easy to pick. The plants form compact, sturdy, flexible bushes that never droop.

It is a short-lived, prolific variety. Golden yellow pods develop white seeds.

Sowing: from April to the end of July. 35-40 cm tall, high yielding variety with late sprouting. The yellow pods have a round cross-section, are fibre- and membrane-free. It has a very pleasant, mild flavour.

The yellow green beans are the most popular in our country, but there are several that age relatively early, i.e. sprout relatively soon. ReinSaat takes care to ensure that this does not happen to the yellow beans available here, but it is nevertheless worth picking them when they are still tender.

A big advantage of bush beans is that they can be planted in a window box, and if grown outdoors, their large green mass means that they quickly suppress weeds. It is also worth sowing some seeds in raised beds or hillocks, as they can stabilise the nitrogen supply of other plants, thus avoiding the need for additional fertiliser during the whole growing season.

Peppermint grass is a traditional protection plant, and the annual variety should always be sown nearby.
