Tread-resistant, drought-tolerant perennial mulch, untillage seed mix for orchard mulching and increasing the amount of undergrowth in pastures.

Benefits:
-Promotes good orchard microclimate and nutrient management with partial or complete mulching.
-A low-growing or low-tolerant association, so mowing 2-4 times is sufficient instead of the usual 5-7 mowings.
-Water and nutrient requirements are much lower than for high-yielding species, so it can be used in non-irrigated plantations.
-The dying root system and cuttings of the butterfly-grass association provide the orchard's organic matter needs.
-It absorbs winter precipitation well.

Cultivation technology:
-Timing of planting: possible at the same time as grass planting, both in spring and autumn.
-Seed rate: 30 kg/ha.
-Sowing method: sowing in round-worked, rolled soil suitable for sowing small seeds and grass and, if there are no compaction rollers on the seed drill, rolling again after sowing.
-Other: if it is felted after a few years, it is split with suitable tools (tongs, loosening knives, etc.).
