Description of variety:
Can be sown with silage-type maize until mid-July. After harvesting, Sudan grass can be mown once more. When sown alone, it can be mown three times.
One of the most successful forage crops. Its heat requirements are similar to maize, but its water requirements are considerably lower. It has good disease tolerance.
It grows quickly after mowing. It is a good clumping and earling variety.
Breeding age: middle-early
Soil temperature requirement: min. 12-14 degrees Celsius
Number of days from culling to puking: 65-70 days.
Stand height: 1,8-2,0 m
Sowing: 1,8 to 2 million germs/ha for a double row of grain
Seed rate: 25-50 kg/ha.
Product: 20-25 t/ha dry matter.
