Important information:
No land protection procedure is required! No land registration is required. After the procedure has been carried out, the property in the field of arable land can be registered as set-aside. The inland plough must be registered as a real cultivated field as long as it is used as a real cultivated field and exceeds one hectare, pursuant to FVM Decree 109/1999 (XII. 29.) on the implementation of Act CXLI of 1997 on the Real Estate Register.

Costs to be incurred (in 2024), 2025, 2026 may vary:
Land Registry transfer fee: HUF 6 600.
In addition, during the first instance procedure for the authorisation of land conversion:
- For 2-5 properties concerned: HUF 12 000 per property,
- HUF 60 000 for 6 to 15 properties concerned and an additional HUF 10 000 per property for the sixth property,

It will be necessary to find a land surveyor to carry out the land readjustment. The Land Registry does not keep records of the private surveyor's costs for the preparation of the works and does not carry out surveying activities for the general public.
