Description
Why automation is needed? Growers have many advantages when using modern, automated systems in their operations. Some of the benefits of automated systems include:
- They work without human intervention: whether or not someone is in the greenhouse, the control systems reliably perform the task they are designed to do.
- They save time: they reduce the tasks of you and your staff by automating processes (e.g. controlling ventilation).
- They provide safety: most control equipment has a range of safety features that can be used in the event of unexpected situations.
- They work accurately: processes will be fully repeatable, helping, among other things, to ensure uniform plant growth. The use of automated systems eliminates many human errors.
Our company has more than 25 years of experience in automating greenhouse systems. Most of the systems we offer our customers are the following:
- Power supply system installation. When designing a power supply system, it is important to consider the possibility of future expansion. Our company undertakes the design, manufacture and installation of mains power cabinets. We also undertake the installation of an aggregator power supply system, which automatically ensures power supply in the event of a power failure.
- Motorisation of ventilation control. One of the most important steps in the development of a greenhouse is to install a motorised ventilation system. For this, our company undertakes the installation of mechanical and electrical units, as well as the manufacture and installation of motor control and other electrical boxes. Our company also supplies motorised end wall ventilation drive systems developed in-house. This provides motorised movement of existing end wall windows.
- Control system installation: once the appropriate power supply and motorisation is in place, the automation process can begin. We offer the following options:
- Simple controls (thermostat or time-based for smaller greenhouses)
- Installation of a multifunctional climate control computer with various sensors
- Custom-designed PLC-based controls
Our company distributes climate computers from FILCLAIR and Anjou Automation. These devices are able to take into account a wide range of parameters (outdoor temperature, indoor temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, rain sensor, solar radiation sensor, etc.), which can be used to control the ventilation and, depending on the type, heating, irrigation, shading screen movement, air mixing fan control. For this type of greenhouse computer, we recommend that you consult us in advance to choose the most suitable configuration for you. In addition to the above, our company can also service and repair existing FILCLAIR, RICHEL, BN and Anjou Automation controllers.
- GSM remote monitoring system installation. This allows you to receive SMS alerts in situations defined by you. Sensors that can be connected to a GSM alarm include motion sensors, temperature sensors (which can alarm above or below a certain temperature), power failure sensors, safety limit switches and other sensors.
- Development and production of foil blowing equipment. A time- or pressure-controlled inflation device is essential. For more than 20 years, our company has been manufacturing the foil inflation equipment we have developed, and we also supply the necessary control units and commissioning of the equipment.
