Description
Due to my health condition, a cherished and beloved family member is for sale. Misi, a Mitsubishi MT33 tractor for the Japanese domestic market, was manufactured in 1988. I'm sure he has seen more rice in his 3200 hours of operation than I have in my entire life. He then sailed all the way to Hungary in a container, which is how he came to us in 2019 to steadfastly help our small family farm and gardening business. She has given us many moments of joy, many experiences and stories. Misi has her own suite, so she's not an outdoor, ill-fated machine. Even though its paintwork is still factory and a little worn, he hasn't complained, he says he still feels it's very nice compared to many of his peers. Structurally it is absolutely flawless, has never let me down, in fact in the 6 years we've been in it, apart from a wheel bearing, the only things that have needed changing are oil and filters. Speaking of oil: hydraulic and transmission oil was changed about 180-200 hours ago; engine oil and filters changed every 50 hours (last change was recent, 7-8 hours since then). Grease points are always greased, before and about halfway through spring and fall work, and then again after work is done. Current hours are 4172, which may vary as it is in daily use. Motor power is at its best, it has proven it many times, it can pull two knife subsoilers down to 70 cm, which is a big word! TLT 4 speed (quite rare, even on Japanese tractors!): 540-750-1000-1350. It works very well with the 180 cm working width tiller, one of the drawbars on the rear hydraulics can be levelled on the move, so you don't have to get off the tractor to set the machine, often just adjust it with a knob. The gearbox is 16 speeds, it runs like a snail in the lowest gear, it really is extremely slow - I think it would go up a wall easily, top speed 14.2 km/h measured with GPS. It has 2 front wheels and 4 rear wheels, so it's adjustable in width.
Importantly, it's all-wheel drive, with 3 drive modes:
- normal: 2 rear wheels drive
- 3: rear wheels: all 4 wheels drive
- all 4 wheels drive + when turning, the front wheel, which turns in a larger arc, is given more rotation, making it easier to turn
The wheels are 18" at the front and 28" at the rear.
Recommended for:
- Smaller or larger gardens, due to its size it fits in foil tents, greenhouses, but has the power and weight to do some serious work
- for contract growers
- even in the open field, for small or large plots
It currently has a temporary, registered number plate; insurance is £10,000 a year for me. For sale with contract of sale, I have to hand in registration plates, I can apply for my own.

It is with a terribly sore heart and teary eyes that we part ways, but unfortunately with 4 herniated discs I can no longer work and Misi can no longer work with me.
