Early maturing, self-producing variety. Bokra slightly stronger than Rubina. Bush height up to 1,5-2 m. The branches are thin and split under the weight of the fruit. Its foliage turns red in autumn and it is also planted as an ornamental. The berries are medium-large (6-9 mm), ashy, bluish-black in colour, with a tart taste. It is regularly abundant.

Prefers acid soil, but thrives in slightly chalky soils. It has no significant pests or pathogens and does not require spraying.

Yields reach 7-8 tonnes per hectare. It can be harvested by machine.

It can be used for making jams, syrups and as a natural dye for dairy products. (Its deep purple colour is due to its high content of phenolic phytochemicals, especially anthocyanin. The total anthocyanin content reaches 1500 mg in 100 g of fresh fruit (highest among fruits)).
